Pro Tips & Best Practices

Pledges View Navigation: Use the search function to quickly locate specific people. The view automatically calculates running totals, so you always see current financial status at a glance.
Person Navigation: Either from Pledges View or Payment View, clicking on perosn name will navigate to the person's detailed financial data.
Payment Reconciliation Workflow:
  • Start with completed payments in the default view
  • Review and reconcile payments by tapping the reconcile button
  • Use the "Show Reconciled" toggle to view your reconciliation history
  • Filter by payment type to focus on specific payment methods
Event Search Efficiency: The calendar view provides the fastest way to locate events. For single events on a date, you'll be taken directly to the assignment view. For multiple events, you'll see a selection list.
Data Export: Both Pledges and Payments views offer CSV export functionality. Exports include totals and are formatted for easy analysis in spreadsheet applications.
Sorting & Filtering:
  • Pledges: Sort by name or outstanding amount to prioritize follow-ups
  • Payments: Sort by date, amount, name, or status for better organization
  • Events: Events are automatically sorted by date for chronological viewing
Status Management: Payment status progression follows: Completed → Reconciled. Use reconciliation to mark payments as verified and processed in your accounting system.
Performance Optimization: The Payments view limits records by default (30 records). Adjust this number based on your needs - higher numbers provide more history but may load slower.
